Welcome to Audubon Dental We hope that you will consider us when choosing a dentist for you and your family. We pride ourselves on making dentistry a pleasant experience. Our commitment is to provide patients with the best treatment we can possibly give. We try to do this by spending adequate time at each visit, by using the highest quality dental materials and by keeping ourselves educated and up to date with continuing education. We adhere to strict sterilization procedures for your protection. Both dentists in this office have had over 25 years of experience and have been dental school faculty members for many years. The many patients who have stayed with us over the years are a tribute to the quality of our work. Our hygienists both have many years of experience and are well-regarded by many long-time patients. Also, we strive to maintain a staff that is competent, caring and pleasant. Audubon Dental is an office where you can still receive friendly, caring and personalized care. We have avoided the trend towards shorter, rushed depersonalized treatment. We inform patients of all treatment options and avoid "selling" the most expensive alternative. Finally, each patient is treated individually and with respect. Children are welcome and we take care to make visits pleasant for them. Payment for Services: The cost of running a dental practice today is high and we understand that families have to plan for and budget dental care costs. If you have insurance, we will submit your forms directly. As soon as the insurance company pays it's portion , your payment for the balance is due. We accept VISA, MasterCard , Discover and American Express Cards, and if you need extensive work we can offer a one year interest-free plan with Care-Credit, a health care financing agency. Sometimes we can arrange an in-office plan so that payments may be extended over a few months. Cosmetic services must be paid in full before treatment. Dental Insurance: Our office is not a preferred provider for any dental plan, nor are we a member of any HMO. This is a decision we made years ago that was inspired by our commitment to giving the patient a quality and comfortable dental experience. If you have private dental insurance we will be happy to file the paperwork and see to it that you are reimbursed to the extent you are allowed under your plan. We have found, however, that it is rare for any insurance to pay 100% of dental costs and that patients usually owe a part of the charge. Our Philosophy: We do dentistry in what we believe is the only sensible way: A fair, but not exorbitant, price for a competent and responsible job, with the patient's welfare, self-determination and comfort always honored. Our fees are not the lowest and not the highest but they are fair. Please remember than in a service like dentistry, in which materials and personalized work are involved, the lowest price could end up being quite costly later on. Office Hours: Mon. 7:30 AM to 5 PM Tues. 9 AM to 8 PM Thurs. 7:30 AM to 5 PM For after hour emergencies, our patients may reach us by telephoning our live answering service. We carry a pager and wish all other dentists did as well. If you call with an emergency and we do not get back to you within a half hour, please call the answering service back. Ask them to be sure they tried paging us and calling hour home and cell phones. If you are our regular patients an d have an emergency and you are on vacation, remember than we can still talk to you and prescribe in states other than Pennsylvania. Thanks! --- Drs.
